Abstract

This study addresses the issues of artificial intelligence anxiety, employee performance, and job insecurity. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of artificial intelligence anxiety and its dimensions (learning, job replacement, socio-technical blindness, and artificial intelligence configuration) on employee performance and job insecurity. This study utilized a quantitative research method. A survey form was used as a data collection tool. The sample of the study consisted of 205 administrative employees working in the aviation sector in Istanbul. The data were tested using normality test, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis. According to the analysis results; it has been determined that artificial intelligence anxiety negatively affects employee performance. Learning and socio-technical blindness have been found to negatively affect employee performance. It has been determined that job replacement and artificial intelligence configuration do not affect employee performance. It has been determined that artificial intelligence anxiety positively affects job insecurity. It has been observed that artificial intelligence configuration positively affects job insecurity. It has been determined that learning, job replacement, and socio-technical blindness do not affect job insecurity. The findings obtained have been discussed in both theoretical and practical contexts.
