Abstract

Toric intraocular lens implantation is one of the most feasible and predictable techniques for correcting corneal astigmatism which is an im- portant parameter affecting the refractive results after an uneventful standard cataract surgery. Various toric intraocular lens models, criterias for patient selection, lens power calculation, marking the axis of lens, surgical procedures, refractive results and rotational stabilities are inves- tigated for this review.
