Abstract

This research, titled " Linguistic Patterns of Delivering Actions of Guidence in Religious Speeches "A Friday religious speech by Mulla (Harman Besifky) as a typical example," focuses on the linguistic methods used to communicate directive speech acts within the Kurdish language. The study is practically applied to a Friday sermon delivered by Mullah (Harman Besifky). Adopting a descriptive methodology, the research identifies the linguistic styles employed in directing the discourse and analyzes how the preacher utilizes these styles during his sermon. Since the preacher aims to guide and influence his audience, and given the large scale of religious gatherings, he is compelled to use a variety of linguistic techniques to ensure a powerful impact on the receivers, These styles serve as a primary means to direct the audience toward performing or abstaining from certain actions. Furthermore, they act as points of strength in delivering the message and reinforcing the communicative relationship between the sender (the preacher) and the receiver (the audience) regarding the intended message.
