Bu çalışmada, Türk dünyası halk bilimi alanında çok geniş bir yelpazede çalışmaları bulunan Prof. Dr. Naciye Ata Yıldız'ın akademik yaşam yolculuğunun başlangıcından günümüze uzanan süreci üzerine bir söyleşi gerçekleştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yıldız'ın lisans ve lisansüstü eğitim süreçleri, alana dair çalışmaları, yapmış olduğu çalışmalar, bu mesleğe yeni başlayan/ başlayacak olan genç araştırmacılara yönelik görüş ve önerileri, Türkiye merkezli Türklük Bilimi çalışmalarına yönelik değerlendirmeleri gibi çeşitli soruların yanıtlarına yer verilecektir.
