Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effects of molasses addition at different rates on the chemical composition, some fermentation and digestibility properties of silage in fresh grass collected from landscape areas. The grass collected on the day of mowing was brought to the laboratory, chopped and left to ferment for 75 days with molasses added at levels of 0% (control), 1%, 2% and 3%. At the end of the study, molasses addition increased the silages' dry matter (P 0.05). All experiment silages were rated as "Excellent." At the end of the study, the silage quality of grass obtained from landscaped areas was evaluated, and it was concluded that good-quality silages could be obtained, especially with the addition of 3% molasses, even during the feeding period.

Özet

Bu çalışma, peyzaj alanlarında toplanan taze çimin farklı oranla melas ilavesiyle silolamanın kimyasal kompozisyonu, bazı fermantasyon ve sindirilebilirlik özellikleri üzerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Biçildiği gün toplanan çim, laboratuvara getirilmiş, doğranmış ve % 0 (kontrol) % 1, % 2 ve % 3 düzeylerinde melas ilave edilerek 75 gün fermentasyona bırakılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, melas ilavesiyle silajların kuru madde (P 0.05). Bütün araştırma silajları “Pekiyi” kalite sınıfında yer almışlardır. Araştırma sonunda, peyzaj alanlarından elde edilen çimlerin silaj kalitesi değerlendirilmiş ve özelikle % 3 melas ilavesiyle yemleme dönemi de dikkate alınacak iyi kalitede silajlar elde edilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.
