Abstract Background and Aim: Today, information in the field of health as in all areas is being renewed and developed rapidly. This increases the trend towards evidence-based practices rather than traditional ones in the field of health. The aim of this research to evaluate the attitudes of nurses towards evidence-based nursing. Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 63 nurses working in a public hospital between October-January 2019. The data of the study was collected with “Nurse Identification Form” and “Evidence-Based Attitude Scale towards Nursing (EBASN)”. Number, percentage, mean and standard deviation, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Willes test and correlation analysis was used to evaluate the data. Findings: The mean age of the nurses participating in the study was 28.48±6.28 years. 88.9% of them are women, 90.5% are under graduate and 54% are single. It was determined that the EBASN total score average of the nurses was 61.46 ± 8.08. Among the nurses participating in the study, those who received evidence-based practices, those who used evidence-based practices in clinical practices, and those who did not think that evidence-based care could adversely affect the workload were found to have significantly higher total scores of the EBASN. Results: Attitudes of nurses towards evidence-based nursing were moderate. The attitudes of those who received evidence-based nursing training and stated that they used evidence-based practices in their clinical practices were more positive in terms of evidence-based nursing.

Giriş ve Amaç: Günümüzde tüm alanlarda olduğu gibi sağlık alanında da bilgiler hızla yenilenmekte ve gelişmektedir. Bu durum sağlık alanında gelenekselden ziyade kanıta dayalı uygulamalara doğru eğilimi arttırmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı; hemşirelerin kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumlarını değerlendirmektir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipteki bu çalışma, Ekim 2018-Ocak 2019 tarihleri arasında bir devlet hastanesinde çalışan 63 hemşire ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri “Hemşire Tanıtım Formu” ve “Kanıta Dayalı Hemşireliğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (KDHYTÖ)” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma, Mann Whitney U testi ve Kruskal Wallis testi ve korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 28,48±6,28 yıldır. Hemşirelerin %88,9’u kadın, %90,5’i lisans mezunu ve %54’ü bekardır. Hemşirelerin KDHYTÖ toplam puan ortalamasının 61,46±8,08 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerden kanıta dayalı uygulamalara yönelik eğitim alanların, klinik uygulamalarında kanıta dayalı uygulamaları kullananların ve kanıta dayalı bakım vermenin iş yoğunluğunu olumsuz etkileyebileceği düşüncesine sahip olmayanların KDHYTÖ toplam puanları anlamlı olarak daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumları orta düzeyde bulunmuştur. Kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik eğitim alan ve klinik uygulamalarında kanıta dayalı uygulamaları kullandıklarını belirtenlerin kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumları daha olumlu çıkmıştır.
