Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationships between health beliefs, psychological well-being levels, and healthy lifestyle behaviors among fitness participants. A quantitative research method was adopted, utilizing a relational survey model. The study group consisted of 511 participants who regularly attended fitness centers and was selected using the convenience sampling method. Data collection involved the Psychological Well-Being Scale, Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale, and Exercise Health Belief Model Scale. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analyses were applied. As a result, it was determined that variables such as psychological well-being, stress management, physical activity, and health responsibility have significant effects on health beliefs. Furthermore, it was determined that spiritual development is one of the variables with the strongest correlation with psychological well-being. This study provides insights into how exercise habits influence individuals health perceptions and psychological well-being levels, contributing to strategies aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors.
