Abstract

5 cataclysmic variable (CV) candidates (Gaia16ahl, 16bnz, 14adn, 16awq and 21bpe) among the Gaia alerts were observed with small apertures robotic telescopes (also in coordination with larger ones) in filters B, V, R and unfiltered. The identifications of the candidates are as follows: 16ahl-CV, 16bnz-unknown, 14adn-unknown, 16awq-unknown and 21bpe nova. Average magnitudes in Gaia’s G band are also 16ahl(14.9), 16bnz(12.9), 14adn(16.3), 16awq(9.0) and 21bpe(15.4). Light curves were obtained by long-term photometric observations of the Gaia sources at different dates. Accordingly, 16ahl Z Cam type showed standstills and brightness increases at the end. A deep minimum of magnitude 4.2 was also seen in B filter. 16adn had been confirmed to be an RR Lyra type variable star. 16awq was supported to be a magnetically active star. 21bpe showed a nova outburst with a magnitude of about 9, reaching its maximum luminosity of magnitude 6.5 on June 7, 2021. The light curves of the early decrease stage after the outburst were taken and the photometric contribution was given to the evolution of the nova in this phase.
