Abstract

Planetary Nebulae (PNe), progenitor stars with masses between 1 and 8 M⊙, play a key role in the chemical evolution of galaxies. This study investigates the abundances of α-elements (C, N, O, Ne, S, Cl, Ar) relative to oxygen in PNe from the HASH database, comparing them with the components of the Milky Way. By analyzing the Galactic coordinates and distances from Gaia EDR3, PNe were categorized into the bulge, thin disk, thick disk, and halo. The results show that He and Cl abundances are closer to solar values, while O, Ne, S, and Ar are lower, particularly in the halo. These findings offer insights into the chemical enrichment of the ISM and the evolutionary processes of the Milky Way.
