Abstract

Laryngeal traumas are serious injuries that can adversely affect the quality of life. Laryngeal traumas are classified as blunt and penetrant traumas according to the formation. One of the blunt laryngeal trauma ‘’hanging’’ is a fatal condition usually occured as a result of energy applied to the neck region due to gravity; especially caused by an accident, suicide or beating. In this study, we presented a 32 year old male patient who was injured from his neck by wrapping the rope of parashute during the training jump.
