Abstract

Functional endoscopic sinus surgery is a common procedure in otorhinolaryngology practice therefore sinonasal anatomy and anatomic variations should be well known by otorhinolaryngologists. Like other paranasal structures, there are variations in conchal anatomy. Conchi are anatomic landmarks in sinus surgery and play an important role in nasal physiology. In our case, a 50 years old female patient who demonstrated left inferior turbinate agenesis with complaints of nasal obstruction and postnasal drip is studied.
