Abstract

Sphenoid Sinus Fungal balls (SSFB) may rarely present with severe orbital and intracranial complications. There are few intracranial complications arising from SSFB in the literature. In this report, we presented our diagnosis and treatment approach to a 67-year-old female patient with a cavernous sinus and superior ophthalmic venous thrombosis due to right SSFB. The patient did not have any complaints and no recurrence at the postoperative 15th month follow-up.
