Abstract

Diabetic mastopathy is a rare form of lymphocyticmastitis and stromal fibrosis. It is seen in femalepatients who have been diagnosed with type 1diabetes mellitus for a long time. It can be detected asan unilateral or bilateral palpable mass. Clinicalfindingsunnecessary surgery because of mimicking cancer.We aimed to present a case of diabetic mastopathy ina 37-year-old female. The patient was diagnosed withtype 1 diabetes mellitus 27 years ago

Özet

Diyabetik mastopati, lenfositik mastit ve stromalfibrozisin nadir görülen bir formudur. Uzun süre tip 1diabetes mellitus tanılı kadın hastalarda görülmektedir.Unilateral ya da bilateral palpable kitle şeklindesaptanabilir. Klinik bulgular ve radyolojik görüntülemekanseri düşündürdüğü için gereksiz cerrahi girişimyapılabilmektedir. Yazımızda, bilateral memede kitlenedeni ile yapılan tetkiklerde diabetik mastopati tespitedilen 37 yaşında bayan hastayı sunmayı amaçladık.Hasta, 27 yıl önce tip 1 diabetes mellitus tanısı almıştır
