Bu metin, Rodina dergisinin 1997 tarihli 3-4. sayılarında 40-44. sayfaları arasında yer alan Tarihçi Vadim Trepavlov’un Kazan Üniversitesi Tatar Tarihi Bölümü Başkanı Dr. Mirkasım Usmanov ile “Sosedi nazıvali ih ‘tatarami’ (Komşuları onlara “Tatar” derdi!)” başlıklı söyleşisinin Rusçadan Türkçeye çevirisini ihtiva etmektedir. Orijinal metne ait notlar metin içerisinde yay ayraçlar içerisinde numaralandırılmış ve metnin sonunda yer alan “Dipnotlar” başlığı altında sıralı olarak verilmiştir.
