Abstract

In today's competitive business environment, businesses must adapt to drastic environmental changes in order to survive. The utilization of high-tech software and hardware solutions in operational processes supports this adaptation. The adaptation process is fundamental for the success of digital transformation. During transformation process, leaders identify the required improvements and act as role model for subordinates. This study aims to explain the mediating role of dynamic capabilities in the relationship between digital leadership and digital transformation. This study was conducted through survey to 339 white-collar employees working in the information technology (IT) sector. SmartPLS 4 was used to analyze collected data. The results show that dynamic capabilities has mediating role in the relationship between digital leadership and digital transformation. These results demonstrate that both digital know-how of leaders and the dynamic capabilities of companies have significant effect on the success of the digital transformation process.
