Abstract
To establish a healthy sports system it is necessaryto understand the issues that sport clubsface. Current study aims to put forward the issues ofamateur sport clubs. Study has exploratory characteristics.Semi-structured interviews were conductedto obtain the data. Gathered by using “typical case”and “snowball” sampling methods the sample forthe study included 76 sport club managers. Contentanalyses method is used for the data analyses. Therelations of club issues, which were identified by contentanalyses, are created schematically through acloud software. Findings points out that there are financial,organizational, legal, and managerial issuesin clubs as well as the issues related to the personnel,facilities, and the equipment. Consequently, it is foundthat the issues in clubs reproduce themselves ina vicious cycle. Financial problems are at the base ofall problems. The most significant issue feeding thisproblem is that the legislations cannot meet the needs.
