Abstract

The syntheses of methyl 2-(3,4-dicyanophenylthio)acetate and dimethyl 2,2'-(4,5-dicyano-o-phenylenedithio)acetate are reported. Cyclotetramerization of these phthalonitriles in the presence of copper(I) chloride in N,N-dimethylaminoethanol yielded the corresponding copper(II) phthalocyanines (4, 6). The metal-free derivatives (3, 5) were obtained by refluxing the precursors in N,N-dimethylaminoethanol. All synthesized complexes exhibit excellent solubility in alkaline aqueous media. Their structures were fully characterized using elemental analysis, IR, NMR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.

Özet

Çalışmada öncelikle Metil 2-(3,4-disiyanofeniltiyo)asetat ve Dimetil 2,2'-(4,5-disiyano-o-fenilenditiyo)asetat bileşiklerinin sentezleri tartışılmıştır. Sentezlenen ftalonitrillerin, N,N-dimetilaminoetanol içerisinde Bakır(I) Klorür ile halka kapama tepkimesiyle bakır ftalosiyaninler (4, 6) elde edilmiştir.
