Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of intrapreneurship on organizational innovation and the moderating role of age in this relationship. Data obtained from 350 employees selected using convenience sampling were analyzed as part of the research. Descriptive statistics, regression, and moderating effect analyses were conducted using the SPSS 22 software package and the PROCESS macro. The analysis results indicate that the established model is statistically significant (R²=0.427; F(3,346)=118.100; p<0.001) and explains 42.7% of the variance in innovation. Furthermore, it was determined that age plays a significant moderating role in the relationship between intrapreneurship and innovation (B = -0.2135; p = 0.0048). The results of the simple slopes analysis revealed that the effect of intrapreneurship on innovation is stronger among younger employees and weakens with increasing age. These findings demonstrate that age is an important contextual variable moderating the relationship between intrapreneurship and innovation, and they inform practices aimed at supporting innovative behaviors within organizations.
