Abstract
Language, which is the basic element of human beings' survival, surrounds them all around. It makes itself felt in every field of cultural assets such as history, science, education, religion and literature and leaves its mark on every moment of life. In the historical process, language carries the knowledge, experience and perspectives of societies about life and their knowledge about nature and human communication. While language can be traced vividly through written products containing this information, oral products have an important place as the carrier and expression of the history, culture and understanding of societies. Because language maintains its vitality, develops and changes in social life. While the society expresses its feelings and thoughts in social life, it transfers its social memory through language and continues to process its language in oral culture. It is seen that these oral culture products belonging to the spoken language are sometimes made permanent by taking place in literary works. One of these literary works is Yaşar Kemal's story called Bebek. Yaşar Kemal's story called Bebek, which is taken as the basis for the analysis and in which dialectal elements are tried to be determined, is discussed in terms of sound, form and vocabulary. In the study, after the introduction where general information about Yaşar Kemal and his work is given, the phonetic and morphological features of the work and the regional dialectal vocabulary are emphasised. The study is completed with the conclusion section in which the findings are evaluated.

İnsanoğlunun kendi varlığını sürdürmesinin temel unsuru olan dil, onu çepeçevre kuşatır. Tarih, bilim, eğitim, din ve edebiyat gibi kültür varlıklarının her alanında kendini hissettirip yaşamın her anına damgasını vurur. Tarihî süreç içinde dil, toplumların yaşama dair bilgi, tecrübe ve bakış açıları ile doğa ve insan iletişimine dair bilgilerini üzerinde taşır. Bu bilgilerin yer aldığı yazılı ürünlerle dil canlı bir şekilde izlenebilirken sözlü ürünler toplumların tarih, kültür ve anlayışının taşıyıcısı ve ifadesi olarak önemli bir yer tutar. Çünkü dil sosyal yaşam içinde canlılığını korur, gelişir ve değişir. Toplum sosyal yaşam içinde duygu ve düşüncelerini dile getirirken toplumsal hafızasını dil yoluyla aktarır ve sözlü kültür içinde dilini de işlemeye devam eder. Konuşma diline ait olan bu sözlü kültür ürünlerinin zaman zaman edebî eserlerde yer alarak kalıcı hâle getirildiği görülür. Bu edebî eserlerden biri Yaşar Kemal’in Bebek adlı hikâyesidir. İncelemeye esas alınan ve ağız unsurlarının tespit edilmeye çalışıldığı Yaşar Kemal’in Bebek adlı hikâyesi ses, biçim ve söz varlığı yönünden ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada Yaşar Kemal ve eseri hakkında genel bilgilerin verildiği giriş bölümünden sonra eserde dikkat çeken ses ve biçim özellikleri ile bölgesel ağza ait söz varlığı üzerinde durulmaktadır. Elde edilen bulguların değerlendirildiği sonuç bölümü ile çalışma tamamlanmaktadır.
