In the study carried out with the data of 2004 - 2018 period, Common Correlated Effects Model was used to estimate long term parameters between variables. Findings from the empirical analysis showed that the relationship between youth unemployment and crime level was positive overall the panel; the decrease in the level of youth unemployment will lead to a decrease in the level of crime. On the regional level, the relationship between variables in West Marmara, East Marmara and Mediterranean Regions was positive; in other regions it was found to be statistically insignificant.
