Abstract

Results of natural selection, local varieties and types that have reached some of the best features to date. However, our fruit genetic resources are eroding quickly for different reasons. The genotypic variation is which one is basis of future reclamation work is only possible with the conservation of genetic resources. For this purpose, this study to be carried out for Black Sea-Middle Anatolia Gateway Region’s (Amasya-Tokat) of fruit genetic resources collection and storage. Each of the places where the plants were collected will be also recorded. The genotypes collected will be propagated and preserved in the Institute land. The rootstocks were planted in February and the vaccine plots and survey have been done in May-August period. As a result of studies 39 local varieties are records in the years 2011-2014 and 15 local varieties were transferred to them kept gardens. In the future, basis of reclamation work, will be possible only conservation of genetic resources.
