Abstract
This study was conducted to test the effect of shelf drying systems on the number of days of drying of grapes. The study material was Sultanina which was harvested at 22 brix. The grapes were treated with 3% and 5% dipping solution and grapes were taken into two different drying module (with natural air flow and, with solar panel) which were 2 m × 0.7 m in size, consisting of 5 floors and 2 shelf blocks each. Grapes were laid on shelves as m² to 25 kg grapes, also control group of grapes (traditional method) were dried outdoors on polypropylene (PP) material. Concentration of two different dipping solutions tested in the study was not affect statistically of dry days number. The grapes in the drying module with solar panel were dried in a shorter period than the grapes in the other module. In the study, by integrating solar energy into drying module the number of days of drying of grapes were shortened.

Bu çalışma raflı kurutma sistemlerinin üzümlerin kuruma gün sayısı üzerine etkilerini test edebilmek için gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma materyali olan Sultani Çekirdeksiz 22 brix değerinde hasat edilmiştir. Üzümlere, %3 ve %5’lik bandırma eriyiği ile muamele edilmiştir ve 2 m × 0.7 m ölçülerinde, 5 katlı ve her biri 2 adet raf blokundan oluşan iki farklı kurutma modülü (doğal hava akışlı kurutma modülü ve güneş panelli kurutma modülü) içerisine konulmuştur. Üzümler raflara m²’ye 25 kg yaş üzüm olacak şekilde serilmiştir, ayrıca kontrol grubu üzümler (geleneksel yöntem) polipropilen (PP) üzerinde açıkta kurutulmuştur. Çalışmada test edilen farklı iki bandırma eriyiği konsantrasyonu üzümün kuruma gün sayısını istatistiki anlamda etkilememiştir. Güneş paneli kurutma sistemi içerisinde yer alan üzümler diğer sistemde yer alan üzümlere oranla daha kısa sürede kurumuştur. Çalışmada güneş enerjisinin kurutma sistemlerine entegre edilmesi ile üzümlerin kuruma gün sayısı kısalmıştır.
