In this study, the floristic compositions of the cover plant species and their some habitat characteristics along the roadside in Trabzon environs were investigated. Bu araştırmada, Trabzon ve yöresinin karayolu yakın çevresindeki şev örtüsü bitkilerinin oluşturduğu floristik kompozisyonlar ile bunlara ait bazı yetişme ortamı özellikleri incelenmiştir. Buna göre, 3 yükselti-iklim kuşağı ile 2 bakı grubunu içeren yol kesimlerinden toplam 83 adet örnek alanda ölçümler yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, farklı familyalara ait toplam 154 bitki taksonu saptanmış, 0-400 m yükseltikuşağında Galium sylvaticum, 400-1800 m’de Trifolium pratense var. pratense ve 1800 m’nin üzerinde ise Thymus praecox subsp. caucasicus var. grosshemii tekrarlanma oranları açısından en fazla bulunan türler olmuştur.
