Abstract
In this study, physical properties of chestnut were investigated. 8 trees used for experiments were obtained fromTrabzon-Maçka- Çatak region. Samples were prepared according to the related standarts. Özet
Bu çalışmada Anadolu kestanesi (Castanea sativa Mill.) odununun bazı fiziksel özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla Trabzon-Maçka Bölgesinden 8 adet deneme ağacı alınmıştır. Bu ağaçlardan standartlara uygun örnekler hazırlanarak, tam kuru ve hava kurusu yoğunluk ve hacim yoğunluk değerleri, hücre çeperi ve hava boşluğu oranları, daralma miktarları, odunun içerisine alabileceği en yüksek su miktarım ve lif doygunluk noktası rutubeti belirlenmiştir.
