Abstract

Purpose: To examine musculoskeletal system problems in dentists based on years of experience, workplace, and exercise habits. Material and Methods: A total of 203 dentists were included in the study. Individuals were divided into two separate groups according to years of experience 0.05). Dentists with exercise habits exhibited lower pain intensities in the neck, shoulder, back, and elbow, as well as lower ODI and NDI values (p<0.05). Conclusion: As dentists gain more experience, they might encounter issues related to lower back pain. However, adapting to the demands of the profession over time can lower the risk of psychosocial exposure. Instilling exercise habits in dentists is a crucial factor in reducing musculoskeletal system exposures.
