Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between teachers’ exposure to workplace cyberbullying behaviors and their quiet quitting tendencies, as well as to determine whether these variables differ according to certain demographic characteristics. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study was designed within the framework of a relational survey model. The sample consisted of 275 teachers working in the province of Elazığ during the 2025–2026 academic year, selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22, and reliability analyses, descriptive statistics, correlation analyses, and regression analyses were conducted. The findings indicate weak and negative relationships between work-related and person-related cyberbullying behaviors and quiet quitting tendencies. In addition, the explained variance in the regression model was found to be quite low, suggesting that cyberbullying subdimensions account for only a limited portion of teachers’ quiet quitting tendencies. Quiet quitting tendencies were found to be more closely associated with organizational conditions, job satisfaction, and motivational factors. Furthermore, male teachers scored higher on the aggressive cyberbullying dimension. As a recommendation, it can be suggested that supportive school climate practices aimed at enhancing teachers’ job satisfaction and professional resilience, as well as mechanisms to prevent cyberbullying, should be strengthened
