While military divers’physical examination and assessment had been once performed by military physicians at military hospitals, after the transfer of military hospitals to the Ministry of Health this duty has been fallen within civil physicians’area of responsibility. Askeri dalgıçların muayene ve değerlendirmeleri daha önceden askeri hastanelerdeki askeri doktorlar tarafından yapılmakta iken, bu hastanelerin Sağlık Bakanlığı’na devri sonrası bu görev sivil hekimlerin de sorumluluk alanına girmiştir. Bu derlemede, Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri, Jandarma Genel Komutanlığı ve Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığı'ndaki askeri dalgıçların ve bunların adaylarının tıbbi nitelikleri, meslektaşlarımızın adli sorunlarla karşı karşıya kalmamaları için sivil profesyonel dalgıçların tıbbi nitelikleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır.
