Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to reveal which factors shape the changes in the creativity processes of first-year students in design-oriented departments and over what period of time. The creativity levels of students studying in Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, and Landscape Architecture programs were evaluated, focusing on how their creative and cognitive traits, which bring out their potential, support them alongside the education they receive. Flexible pedagogical approaches aimed at enhancing creative thinking in design studios contribute to the students' development of professional skills in the design process and prepare them for their future careers. In line with this general objective, the study investigates the development periods of creativity and the courses that most contribute to creative thinking among first-year students in design departments. The results are expected to provide a perspective on the extent to which creativity can be developed through education. This research aims to serve as a resource for future studies in the field and contribute to contemporary design education.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, tasarım odaklı bölümlerde öğrenim gören birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin yaratıcılık süreçlerindeki değişimin hangi etkenler tarafından ne kadar sürede şekillendiğinin ortaya çıkartılmasıdır. İç mimarlık, İç mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı ile Peyzaj Mimarlığı programlarında öğrenim gören öğrencilerin yaratıcılık düzeylerinin, aldıkları eğitimin yanı sıra kendi potansiyellerini açığa çıkaran bilişsel ve yaratıcı özellikler ile nasıl desteklendiği değerlendirilmiştir. Tasarım stüdyolarında yaratıcı düşünceyi güçlendirmeye yönelik verilen esnek pedagojik yaklaşımlı eğitim modelleri öğrencilerin tasarım sürecindeki profesyonel becerilerini geliştirmelerine ve onları gelecekteki mesleklerine hazırlamalarına katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu genel hedef doğrultusunda, tasarım bölümlerinde okuyan birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin yaratıcılık gelişim süreleri ve yaratıcı düşünmelerine en çok katkı sağlayan derslerin neler olduğu araştırılmıştır. Elde edilecek sonuçların, yaratıcılığın eğitimle ne ölçüde geliştirilebileceğine dair bir perspektif sunması beklenmektedir. Bu araştırmanın, alanla ilgili yapılacak gelecekteki çalışmalara ve günümüz tasarım eğitimine kaynak oluşturması amaçlanmaktadır.
