Abstract

For innovation and R&ampD-oriented competitiveness, the creation of ecosystems interconnected by an effective network of communication and interaction is very important. These ecosystems should also include physical infrastructure, communication, transportation, skilled human resources and corporate management networks, especially capital support. These elements can make an important contribution to the transformation and development of an idea. However, the fact that a R&ampD-oriented product can be preferred by customers in the sector is not only related to the technical characteristics of the product. Corporate marketing competence of R&ampD-oriented enterprises is also important in the success of a R&ampD oriented product. The main objective of this study is to identify R&ampD-oriented business success of product commercialization and marketing competencies in Turkey. In this research, the characteristics of the R&ampD oriented products, the institutional process characteristics and the marketing capabilities of the enterprises and the market characteristics are evaluated. In this respect, product commercialization and marketing competencies of R&ampD based enterprises are investigated. R&ampD focused product commercialization and marketing competency dimensions are defined on the basis of the scaled evelopedan devaluations are made for the competency levels of R&ampD oriented enterprises.
