Abstract
Drug compliance is one of the important parameters in the treatment. In this study, we investigated the compliance of the treatment in the ophthalmology patients. This study included 80 patients between April and July 2010, whom a questionnaire was applied in order to deter-mine the demographic and socioeconomic parameters. Forty-two of the patients were female, while 38 were male. Drug compliance was found to be 84% within all patients. There are many factors affecting the drug compliance. By educating the patients and explaining the adverse effects the compliance of the treatment can be increased

İlaç uyumu tedavinin en önemli basamaklarındandır. Biz bu çalışmada göz polikliniğine başvuran hastalarda ilaç uyumunu ve uyumu etkile-yebilecek faktörleri değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Nisan 2010-Temmuz 2010 tarihleri arasında çalışmaya dahil edilen 80 hastaya demografik ve sosyoekonomik özelliklerini ortaya koymak için anket uygulandı. Hastaların demografik ve sosyoekonmik özelliklerinin ilaç uyumuna etkisi belirlenmeye çalışıldı. Hastalarımızın 42'si kadın 38'i erkekti. Hastaların ilaç uyumu %84 olarak saptandı. İlaç uyumunu bozabilecek birçok faktör vardır. Hastalara gerekli bilgi verilirse, ilaçların yan etkileri anlatılıp önlemler alınırsa ilaç uyumu artabilir.
