Abstract

The main objective of this research is to examine the level of relationship between teachers' perceptions of organizational justice towards school administration and their classroom justice behaviors, and whether these variables differ according to various demographic factors. Using a correlational survey model from quantitative research methods, the sample of the study consists of 316 teachers working in Istanbul, selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected using the "Social Justice Leadership Scale" and the "Teachers' Classroom Democratic Behaviors Scale". The analysis results demonstrated a positive, high-level, and statistically significant relationship between teachers' perceptions of organizational justice and their classroom justice behaviors. The analyses revealed that the school administration's justice practices explained 68% of the total variance in teachers' fair behaviors in the classroom. Regarding demographic variables, it was found that staff status and professional seniority played a decisive role in justice perceptions, with tenured and senior teachers having significantly higher justice perceptions. The findings indicate that the climate of justice established in school administration is reflected in the classroom environment through the trickle-down effect, directly shaping the sense of justice students encounter.

Bulgular, okul yönetiminde tesis edilen adalet ikliminin sızma etkisi (trickle-down effect) aracılığıyla sınıf ortamına yansıdığını ve öğrencilerin karşılaştığı adalet ortamını doğrudan şekillendirdiğini göstermektedir.
