Abstract
The relationship between philosophy and religion has been one of the thinking issues which scholars have reflected upon. The establishments of higher religious education in our coun-try have followed a curriculum thorough which religious knowledge are thought to the students consistently and sys-tematically. For that reason, in that curriculum it has been given place to the courses of philosophy as well as fundamental religious sciences. This article examines the views of the fourth class students of the faculty of theology at University of Ondokuz Mayıs concerning the philosophy courses through inquiry me-thod. In this article it has been tried to find out how much the faculty curriculum achieve to get its beginning objectives through the philosophy courses. Also, this study aims to make contribution to what kinds of changes needed to get maximum success in philosophy education.
Özet
Din ile felsefe ilişkisi, ortaçağlardan günümüze değin insanoğlunun üzerinde durduğu düşünce konularından biridir. Ülkemizde kurulan yüksek din eğitimi kurumları, din ile felsefenin uzlaştığı, dini bilgilerin tutarlı ve sistemli bir biçimde öğretimini sağlayacak bir ders programını izlemişlerdir. Böylece sözü edilen programlarda, temel din bilimlerinin yanı sıra felsefe grubu derslerine de yer verilmiştir. Bu çalışma, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi örneğinde, felsefe grubu dersleri hakkında son sınıf öğrencilerinin görüşlerinin anket yöntemiyle belirlenmesine dayanmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular dayalı olarak, fakültenin felsefe eğitimindeki hedeflerine ne denli ulaşmış olduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışma genelde ilahiyat özelde ise felsefe eğitiminde yüksek bir başarı elde etmek için ne türden değişikliklerin yapılması gerektiği hakkında ön görülere katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır.
