Abstract

Aim: Endometrium cancer is the most common ly seen gynecologic cancer. As in all the cancer processes , chronic inflammation plays an etiological role. Material and Method: The study included a total of 105 patients. T hree groups each consisting 35 patients are formed . Based on the results of endometrial sampling, the patients are groped as benign, hyperplasia and malignant . D ifference s of hematologic parameters between the groups w ere investigated. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of neutrophil, lymphocyte, and platelet count, neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio and platelet/lymphocyte ratio (p>0. 05). Hemoglobin, mean platelet volume and platelet distribution width values were found statistically significantly higher in the malignant group (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result; inflammation may increase platelet activity and provide a basis for endometrial cancer.
