Bu çalışmada, terörizm kavramı ve turizm endüstrisi arasındaki ilişki incelenmektedir. Turistik tüketicilere ve yerleşimlere düzenlenen terörist saldırıların terörist grupların politik ve örgütsel amaçlarına neden ve nasıl hizmet ettiğinin belirlenebilmesi için terörizm eylemlerin yapısı ve terörist grupların amaçları değerlendirilmektedir.
