Abstract
\r\n The aim of this study is to determine if leadership education is effective on the leadership development. In this study, in order to find out the effect of the leadership education on the leadership development, a survey was conducted on the officer, noncommissioned officer, and reserve officer in the Turkish Army. Data collected with the leadership potential scale, quoted from Elwood Chapman and Sharon Lund O’Neil, were analyzed. The results of the analysis demonstrate that leadership education is effective on the leadership potential development.\r\n

\r\n Bu çalışmanın amacı, liderlik eğitiminin liderlik gelişimi üzerinde etkili olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Çalışmada liderlik eğitiminin liderlik özelliklerinin gelişimi üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla kara kuvvetlerinde görev yapmakta olan subay, astsubay ve yedek subaylar üzerinde bir uygulamalı araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, liderlik potansiyel testi ile toplanan veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda liderlik eğitiminin liderlik potansiyeli gelişiminde etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir.\r\n
