\r\n The current study investigated the views of pre-service teachers enrolled in the departments of computer education and instructional technologies regarding the teaching profession. The research was designed as a phenomenology study. Participants consisted of 40 senior students enrolled in Anadolu University Faculty of Education, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. Data were collected through an instrument comprised of open-ended questions, and analyzed through content analysis procedures. \r\n Bu çalışmada Eğitim Fakültelerinin Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi (BÖTE) bölümlerinde öğrenim görmekte olan bilişim teknolojileri öğretmeni adaylarının mesleğe bakış açıları kendi görüşleri kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Araştırma bir olgubilim çalışması olarak desenlenmiştir. Katılımcılar Anadolu Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümü’nde öğrenim görmekte olan 40 dördüncü sınıf öğrencisidir. Araştırma verileri açıkuçlu sorulardan oluşan bir anket formu ile elde edilmiş ve içerik çözümlemesi tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları bilişim teknolojileri öğretmeni adaylarının mesleğe ilişkin algılarını, öğretmen yeterlikleri, öğretim, toplumsal roller, mesleki sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri başlıkları altında ortaya koymaktadır.\r\n
