Türkçe Eğitimi Bölümünde uygulanan ders programlarının eğitim ve öğretimdeetkili olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu çalışmada önce Türkçe eğitimi ve öğretiminin tarihiseyrine, gerekliliğine değinilmiş; daha sonra uygulanan ve önerilen ders programlarıbelirtilmiştir. Türkçe eğitimi ve öğretiminin sağlıklı bir şekilde yürütülebilmesi için biröğretmenin nasıl yetiştirilmesi gerektiği ifade edilmiş, en son bölümde de Türkçeöğretiminin diğer dillerin öğretimi kadar önemli olduğu belirtilmiştir.
