Yasanın Kapısı Önünde Derrida'nın Kafka Okuması: Yasanın Erişilemezliği

Özet
Jacques Derrida “Préjugés, Devant la loi” (“Yasanın Önünde, Önyargılar”) adlı metninde Kafka’nın Yasanın Önünde (Kanun Önünde) adlı enigmatik öyküsünün bir okumasını sunar. Filozof söz konusu metninde çok katlı ve çok hatlı bir ağ örer. Bu makalede Kafka’nın öyküsünde ele alınan yasanın erişilemezliği meselesinin Derrida düşüncesinin derin çizgileriyle buluşmakta olduğunu Derrida’nın yaptığı okumanın içinden geçerek göstermeyi amaçlıyoruz. Yasanın erişilemezliği konusu etrafında Derrida’nın doğrudan adını andığı fark/erteleme (différance) kavramsısının (quasi-concept) okumasında belirleyici bir role sahip olduğu görülür. Öte yandan doğrudan adını anmasa bile hareketini takip edebildiğimiz ilavesellik/ikamesellik (supplémentarité) kavrayışının da bu okumada iş başında olduğunun altını çizmek önemlidir. Derrida yasanın kökeni konusu çerçevesinde Kant ve Freud hakkında da yazar. Yasanın kökeni tartışması üzerinden aslında devrede olan aşkınsal gösterilenin erişilemezliği meselesinin ise Derrida’nın Platon okumasıyla bir bağ kurmak suretiyle bir başka bağlamda görünür kılınabileceğini belirtmeliyiz. Böylelikle bu makalede Derrida’nın Kafka okuması fark/erteleme, ilavesellik/ikamesellik ve aşkınsal gösterilenin erişilemezliği temalarının birbirine dokunduğu bir anlam ağı içinde ele alınmaktadır.
Abstract
In “Préjugés, Devant la loi” (“Préjugés, Before the Law”), Jacques Derrida offers a reading of Kafka’s enigmatic story Before the Law. In his text, the philosopher weaves a multi-layered and multi-lined network. In this article, we aim to show by going through Derrida’s reading that the issue of the inaccessibility of the law, which is discussed in Kafka’s story, meets the deep lines of Derrida’s thought. Around the issue of the inaccessibility of the law, Derrida directly refers to the quasi-concept of différance, which has a decisive role in his reading. On the other hand, it is important to underline that the quasi-concept of supplement, whose movement we can follow if it is not directly mentioned, is at work in this reading. Derrida also writes about Kant and Freud in the context of the issue of the origin of the law. We think that the matter of the inaccessibilty of the transcendental signified, which is already at work through the debate on the origin of the law, can be made visible on another context by establishing a connection with Derrida’s reading of Plato. Thus, in this article, Derrida’s reading of Kafka is followed in a network of meaning in which the themes of différance, supplementarity and inaccessibility of transcendental signified are interwoven.
