Özet
Bu çalışmada, 7. Sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler dersinde bir yöntem olarak yaratıcı dramanın kullanımına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, Ankara ili Çankaya ilçesinde MEB’e bağlı özel bir kurumda 7. Sınıfta öğrenim gören 27 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada araçtırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Yapılandırılmış görüşme formlarından ve öğrencilerin atölyede hazırladıkları yazılı materyallerden elde edilen verilere, içerik analizi türlerinden frekans analizi kullanılarak ulaşılmıştır. Veriler 2015-2016 eğitim- öğretim yılı bahar döneminde toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, katılımcıların sosyal bilgiler dersinde yaratıcı drama yönteminin kullanılabilir olduğu, özellikle tarih konularının öğretiminde kullanılabilir olduğu, arkadaşlarıyla olan ilişkilerini olumlu etkilediği, sosyalleşmelerine katkıda bulunduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra drama kavramına tanımlama getiremedikleri gözlemlenmiştir
Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to determine 7th Grade students' opinions regarding the use of Creative Drama as a method in social studies class. In this study, qualitative method was used. The study group consists of 27 students studying at 7th class in a private institution affiliated to the Ministry of Education in the province of Çankaya, Ankara. Through the aims of the study, the structured interview form developed by the researcher and the data obtained from the written materials prepared by the students at the workshop were obtained by using frequency analysis from types of content analysis. The data were collected during the spring semester of 2015-2016 academic year. As a result of the research, it was concluded that creative drama method can be used in the social studies class, especially it can be used for teaching of history subjects, positively affects relations with friends and contributes to socialization. Besides, it was observed that they have not been able to define the concept of drama.
