Abstract
The aim of the present study is to investigate the friendship correlation among universityfreshman students according to some variables. For this purpose, research were conducted on519 freshman student. The data obtained from the study collected on “Personel informationform” and “friend correlation scale” were analyzed using number, percentage, average,standart deviation, independent groups t test, one-way analysis of variance and tukey test.Acording to results of the study, statistically significant relationships were found betweenacademical department, number of sister/brother, educational status of father/mother and occupation, economical income of student and friendship correlation. Neverthless there isno relationship with the friendship correlation numbers of students between genders, familyrelationship and their ages.
