Timurians received many gifts and gave gifts in their relations with foreign states. Foreign states have sometimes sent gifts to paint the Timurians to wished forwar and sometimes to take advantage of the Timurids. We come across many examples of the tradition of gift giving, which took place in the history of the Timurids in political, secular, economic and daily life. The Timurid State was in political, economic and military relations with many states such as the Ottomans, China, Egypt, Armenians, Spain, Iran and Akkoyunlu. In our study, we will try to state the gifts, the meanings of these gifts, the occasion they came or were sent, between the rulers or gentlemen of the states we mentioned in Timur, and their sultans. In addition, it is seen that the members of the dynasty, state officials, elite and ordinary people gift edamong themselves in the Timurids, and this gift was based on various reasons. It is seen that among Timurians, they are gifted for kinship, friendship, of course, love, respect, victorycelebration, peace, holidays, weddings, birth, circumcision, weakness, condolence, aid and domination. It is seen that these gifts are given and received as gifts, especially hil'at, gold, various jewelery (turquoise), money, gulâm, concubine, paper, fur, horse, camel, donkey and clothing. The value of the gift was very long lasting in the Timurid State. For this reason, foreign countries have paid attention to sending turquoise as jewelry to Timurian rulers through the envoys. According to the power of the Timurid rulers, the value of the gift increased according to the reverence. Again, there were certain rules determined by the Timurians in the acceptance of the gifts presented to the Timurids for various purposes from many countries. The Timurians, who gave great importance to these rules, would describe them as an insult when acting against this rule. Like wise, in response to gifts sent through ambassadors from various countries, Timurians were giving gifts to the ambassadors of these countries by arranging toys and entertainment. Of course, the duration of the entertainment given to these ambassadors, who came to the Timurian country from foreign countries, varied according to the strength handpower of the countries, the variety of treats and the value of gifts. In Timurids, the abundance and scarcity of the gift was also important. We also learn about them a terial and spiritual powers of this state from the tradition of the Timurid tradition.
