TARİH ÖĞRETİMİNDE OKUMA-ANLAMANIN ÖNEMİ VE GÜDÜMLÜ OKUMA DERSİ

Özet

Eğitim ve öğretimde basarı, öğrenciyi belirlenen hedeflere ulastırmak içintakip edilen yöntem ve tekniklerle doğru orantılıdır. Bu nedenle öğretmen veöğrencilerin öğretmek-öğrenmek için yaptığı planlı etkinliklerin tümü, eğitimamaçlarının gerçeklestirilmesinde önemli rol oynar. Örgün öğretimde öğrenmeninön kosulu iyi okuma, okuduğunu anlayabilme ve anlatabilme olduğuna göre,okuma stratejileri de öğrenciyi belirli hedeflere ulastırmada kullanılabilecek çokönemli unsurlardır. Bu çalısma; tarih öğretiminde okuma, okuduğunu anlama,yorumlama ve hedefleri belirli bir okumanın öğrenmede nasıl katkı sağladığınıortaya koyma yolunda olusturulan bir model önerisidir. Bu makalede; okumastratejilerinden biri olan ve “Güdümlü Okuma Dersi” olarak adlandırılanyaklasımın tarih öğretiminde uygulanabilirliği üzerinde durulmus ve bu kapsamdaöğrenmeyi daha iyi sağlamak için öneriler sunulmustur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Tarih, güdümlü okuma, okuma-anlama Abstract : There is a direct correlation between the acquisition of educational andinstructional success and the applied methods and techniques in order to achievethis success. Therefore, all the planned activities by the instructors and studentsfor teaching and learning have a vital role in the realization of educationalobjectives. Since effective reading, comprehension and explication arepreconditions for successful learning the training of reading strategies becomesalso quite important. This study is a proposal model and intends to illustrate thebenefits of reading strategies i.e. effective reading, reading-comprehension,explication and motivated reading on history teaching. This paper discusses theapplicability of the reading strategy named “Motivated Reading Course” inhistory and further aims to provide new suggestions for a more effective learning.Key Words: History, motivated reading, reading comprehension
