TRANSFORMATION OF SUFI SYMBOLS IN TATAR POETRY OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Abstract

In the Tatar poetry of the beginning of the XX-th century about Tukai the Sufi symbolics dominates, where on the foreground there are such astral images as "Star", "Sun", "Moon", "Candle". At the same time in poetry of that period idealisation of Tukai is observed, he is represented the exemplary person, a national symbol. The Sufi concept of the Perfect person participates in formation of a national ideal.
