Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma, COVID-19 pandemisi nedeniyle çocukların ev dışına çıkışlarının yasaklandığı ve evde kalmak zorunda oldukları dönemde, annelerin ev kazalarına yönelik güvenlik önlemlerini tanılama ve ilk yardım öz-yeterlik durumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntemler: Çalışma kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı tiptedir. Çalışma 535 anne ile tamamlanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında tanıtıcı bilgi formu, Ev Kazalarına Yönelik Güvenlik Önlemlerini Tanılama Ölçeği, Ev Kazalarında İlk Yardım Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmada annelerin %73,8’i ev kazalarına yönelik önlem aldıklarını, %13,6’sı pandemi döneminde çocuklarının ev kazası geçirdiğini belirtmiştir.
Abstract
Purpose: This study was carried out in order to identify the safety measures of mothers for home accidents and to determine their first aid self-efficacy status during the period when children are prohibited from leaving the home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they have to stay at home. Methods: The study is cross-sectional and descriptive. The study was completed with 535 mothers. An introductory information form, the Scale for Diagnosing Safety Measures for Home Accidents, and the First Aid Self-Efficacy Scale for Home Accidents were used to collect data. In the study, it was determined that mothers' levels of identifying safety measures (165,1±13,3) and first aid self-efficacy (43,2±10,1) were high.
