Özet
Çalışma, Niğde’nin su varlığında tarihsel değişimi ve su yönetimiyle ilişkili bulgu ve saha gözlemlerini konu edinerek su kıtlığı sorununu yeniden gözden geçirmektedir. Çalışmanın öne çıkan yanı ise Niğde Akkaya Baraj Göletinin mevcut varlığı üzerinden özellikle son 10 yıllık dönem içinde Niğde ve çevresinde suyla ilgili gözlemlere dayanan eleştirel bir saha araştırmasını da kapsamasıdır. Akkaya Baraj Göletinin mevcut durumu ise şüphesiz son 32 yılda hızlı gelişen süreçlerin bir sonucudur.
Abstract
The study re-examines the problem of water scarcity by focusing on the historical change in Niğde's water availability and the findings and field observations related to water management. The prominent aspect of the study is that it includes a critical field research based on the current existence of the Niğde Akkaya Dam Pond, especially in the last 10 years, based on water-related observations in and around Niğde. The current situation of the Akkaya Dam Pond is undoubtedly the result of the rapidly developing processes in the last 32 years.
