SANATIN SONU, NFT VE ROTHKO’NUN RUHU ÜZERİNE

Özet

Nedense teknolojinin, insan yaşamını olumlu yönde geliştirdiği yönündeki iddialar gibi o iddialara gösterilen ilgi de her geçen gün kuvvet kazanıyor. Ortada henüz, bir kapsam olarak teknolojinin insanı daha mutlu, daha sağlıklı, ya da başarılı yaptığına inanmamızı gerektirecek bir süreklilik hali yok. Dahası, aksi yönde emareler görmek de hiç zor değil. Buna rağmen hemen her sahada etkin ve nihayet sanata da doğrudan müdahale aşamasına varmış bir teknoloji gerçeği ile burun burunayız. NFT ve metaverse gibi ne olduğu, nereye varacağı halâ kestirilemeyen ama bugünlerde adeta bir tabu halinde benimsenip pek çok mecrada boy gösteren uygulamaların sanatı (ve aslında bilim ve teknolojiyi de) yeniden tanımlanmaya muhtaç ettiği görülüyor. Bu esnada, sanatın tinsel yönü ve sanat eserinin biricikliğine ilişkin tartışmaların bir kez daha ihtiyaç haline geldiği de eldeki bulgulardan anlaşılabiliyor. Tüm bu sebepler ile güncel teknolojinin sanat üzerindeki tahakkümünü, NFT ve kripto kavramlarını inceleyerek sorguluyoruz.

Abstract

For some reason, like claims that technology improves human life in favourable way, the interest taken on those claims have been gaining strength day by day. There is no yet a state of continuity that would require us to believe that technology makes people happier, healthier, or more successful as a whole. Moreover, it is not difficult to see signs to the contrary. Nevertheless, we are face to face with a technology actuality that is effective in almost every field and has finally reached the stage of direct intervention in art. It is seen that practices such as NFT and the metaverse, which are still unpredictable in terms of what it is or where it will go, but have been adopted as a taboo and appear in many media these days, require art (and indeed science and technology) to be redefined. Meanwhile, with the data available at present, it can be seen that the discussions about spiritual aspect of art and the uniqueness of the art-work have become a necessity once again. For all these reasons, we question the dominance of current technology on art by examining the concepts of NFT and crypto.
