Abstract
Daru’l Kurra waqfs, whose foundations were laid in the Golden Age (asr-ı saadet), took root in the historical process, especially in the period of Mamlukians and Seljuks, sometimes as a part of mosques and madrasas and sometimes as independent units, gained great momentum in Ottoman period. Some waqs were also allocated for the maintenance of these waqs. Among these foundations, the Money Waqs (Nukûd Waqs) established to finance the Qur'anic practice and the education of Quran resitation (kıraat) are noteworthy. In the Ottoman waqf civilization, which we cannot fully describe in our mind, the social perception about the Qur'anic resitation and waqf established for this purpose are not sufficient. the concept of medrese belonging to the Islamic civilization as content and similar expressions could be found in other civilizations. In the context of Islamic history, it is the operation of procurement that gives meaning to this spatial expression. It has been used in places such as procurement in the sense of the production of knowledge, sharing and transfer, beginning with the revelation, in the spatial sense Daru'lerkam 'and Suffa. In these places, the first nüvelerine was mentioned with names such as Darü'l-Qur'an and Darü'l-Kurrâ because primarily Koranic sciences were collected. While this naming has changed in the historical process, the Qur'an sciences in which the kâatat ilminin also took place took place at the head of the mentioned units. Temples Hz. The medresses rooted in the Umayyad and Abbasids era taken by the Prophet, especially fed by the Seljuks and the Nizamiye tradition, were able to become the kullans in this mania during the Ottoman period. In this study, it will be tried to emphasize the definition, properties and finance of waqs called as Daru’l Kurra / Quran / Huffaz, which are included in the social complex (külliye) and training of the Qur'anic sciences in different levels in the Ottoman period in Rumelia Region.
