Abstract

The article is devoted to the system of genres in Oral Literature. Major genres of poetry Oral author Turkic peoples are of the same name with folk genres, but their nature are significant differences. In particular, first showed signs of creative individuality, objects of their images were closer to reality, they touched on the most pressing, urgent, and at the same time is not always aging human problems of life. Natural partition of Oral literature in genres began in ancient times. Formation of the system of genres and genre forms proceeded according to the socio-historical conditions, the process of changing tastes, the spiritual needs of the audience.
