Abstract
The author in the article tells about the life and work are hiding Medieval Turkic poet Ahmed Iugneki about shu'ubiyya motion, widely held in the IX - X centuries. among the intelligentsia of the Arab peoples of the caliphate, as well as the existence in the VIII - IX centuries. military-political, scientific and cultural movement among Central Asian Turks shu'ubizm whose members ultimately achieve all their goals and occupied a high position in the socio-political and cultural life of the Caliphate. According to some reports the father of Ahmed Mahmud Iugneki, Iugneki was the representative of this movement. The main purpose of this article is intended to determine the place of birth of Ahmed Iugneki. According to most researchers, village Yugnek, where he was born and raised Adib Ahmed, was in Samarkand.
