Abstract

The article discusses the gradual evolution of some genre-style and compositional forms in the eastern literature since ancient Indian to Arab-Persian. Bulky structure on great works of "Ramayana", "Mahabharata" in Islamic culture replaced by a lighter genre Maqam joining in different proportions especially classical poetry and short story, or, for example, works such as "The unique necklace" Ibn Abu Rabbihi.
